For many years, employees of FASTRON Hungária Kft. have been enthusiastic participants in local amateur dragon boat competitions, taking to the water year after year to compete alongside teams from the surrounding region.

The Beginning of the journey

Our dragon boat story began in 2016, when a small but highly motivated FASTRON team joined one of the first local events. The excitement of the training sessions, the camaraderie among team members, and the thrill of achieving a podium finish made an immediate impression. After that experience, it was clear that dragon boat racing would remain a part of our company life for years to come.

Becoming part of a local tradition

In 2018, the annual LapáTolna Days event was launched by the local rowing association. Building on our earlier experience, FASTRON entered the competition with a newly organized team and a shared determination to be part of what has now become a well-established local tradition.

More than a competition

Over the years, the event has evolved into much more than a sporting competition. It has become a popular community gathering for the FASTRON family. Alongside our paddlers, an increasing number of colleagues, family members, and friends join us on the banks of the Danube backwater each year.

The event offers the perfect opportunity to spend a day together in a relaxed and scenic environment, combining sport, enthusiastic cheering, outdoor cooking, great food, and enjoyable company.

The growing popularity of the event is reflected in the fact that, over the past decade, FASTRON has entered multiple teams each year, all eager to challenge themselves and compete for success.
